![]() The Eos, an all-new 4-passenger hardtop convertible from Volkswagen. The car was dubbed "Eos" after Greek mythology, Eos being the goddess of the dawn (and sister of the moon). The name seems appropriate and it's easy to say in any language. Like other VW convertibles, the Eos is pleasant, comfortable and plush. It's adept at cruising back roads briskly or blending in with traffic on a long highway commute. It's a model apart in the VW family, slated somewhere above the Jetta and below the Passat—logical, as the Eos is built on the Passat platform.
